✨ Moroccan Walnut Shells — A Traditional Beauty Material
These are broken shells from the walnut, Juglans regia, known in Morocco as karkaa (الكركاع) and as walnut shells or قشور الجوز. The loose pieces have a warm beige-to-brown colour, a hard ridged surface and the recognisable natural texture seen in a freshly opened walnut. They are a single natural material, prepared for traditional external beauty uses rather than a ready-made cosmetic.
🌿 Traditional and Cultural Uses
In Moroccan household beauty tradition, walnut shells were prepared in water for dark-toned hair rinses and traditional hair-care rituals. Their firm texture was also traditionally used after crushing for handmade body preparations that give a gentle mechanical scrub. These are customary beauty practices passed between generations, not a substitute for a formulated treatment.

🥣 Traditional Preparation
- Rinse the walnut shell pieces with clean water.
- Simmer them in water until the liquid takes on a deeper brown colour.
- Let the preparation cool completely, then strain out the shell pieces.
- Use the strained liquid as part of a traditional external hair routine, then rinse as desired.

Changed your mind? Contact us within 7 calendar days. Keep the product unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
Damaged, wrong, or missing item? Tell us within 48 hours and send your order number and clear photos.
How it works
Important to know
- Change-of-mind return: You pay the return delivery cost. The original delivery fee (MAD 20 within Safi or MAD 40 to other cities) is not refundable, but no hidden delivery fee is deducted from orders that qualified for free delivery.
- Incorrect, damaged, or defective item: We cover the agreed return cost and offer a replacement when available or a refund.
- Refund method and timing: Approved refunds are sent by bank transfer, Cash Plus, or Wafacash within 7 business days after we receive, inspect, and approve the return.
- Opened or used products: Personal care products, oils, herbs, soaps, incense, and similar products cannot be returned for a change of mind. This does not apply to an incorrect, damaged, or defective product.
- Order cancellation: You can cancel before the order is handed to the delivery company. After dispatch, the return conditions above apply.

Delivery
Orders arrive in 1-5 business days after dispatch. Delivery costs MAD 20 in Safi and MAD 40 in other cities—free if your order is over MAD 400. Pay in cash when it arrives.
