✨ Moroccan Incense Zaghbat Alou — A Fragrant Traditional Blend

Zaghbat Alou, also called Zaghba Alou, Zaghbat Alou Marwiya and بخور زغبة علو مرويّة, is a loose Moroccan incense blend for perfuming the home. In the mixture, dried orange and brown botanical fragments sit beside dark seeds, giving it a richly textured, handcrafted appearance. It is supplied dry and loose, ready to use a little at a time in an incense burner.

🌿 Traditional and Cultural Uses

They were also used during customary occasions and protective rituals, where fragrant smoke held an important place in the home.

🔥 How to Use

• 🕯️ Place a small pinch on a lit charcoal disc in a heatproof incense burner.
• 🏠 Let the fragrant smoke perfume a room, reception space, or family gathering.
• ✨ Add a little at a time; the loose blend makes it easy to adjust the amount to your space.
