✨ Moroccan Dried Rue — An Aromatic Herb of Tradition
Moroccan dried rue is a whole aromatic herb known as rue, common rue, herb of grace, ruda, Fijel, Sudab, الفيجل and السداب. Its botanical name is Ruta graveolens. The dried sprigs are green to olive in colour, with slender stems, small leaves and flowering tips, and they carry the plant’s unmistakably strong herbal scent.
🌿 Traditional and Cultural Uses
In Moroccan and wider North African tradition, dried rue held an important place in the home. It was traditionally used in protective customs intended to ward off the evil eye, and its aromatic smoke was part of household fumigation on family occasions. Grandmothers also kept rue among the household herbs used in folk healing customs, where its scent and presence were valued in domestic rituals.

🥣 Traditional Fumigation Preparation
- Place a charcoal disc in a heatproof incense burner.
- Once it is glowing, add a small pinch of dried rue.
- Allow the aromatic smoke to rise gently in a ventilated room as part of a customary home ritual.

Rue is an aromatic Mediterranean herb from the Rutaceae family. This Moroccan dried botanical is supplied whole and loose, preserving the visible stems, leaves and small flower clusters shown in the photograph.

Changed your mind? Contact us within 7 calendar days. Keep the product unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

Important to know
- Change-of-mind return: You pay the return delivery cost. The original delivery fee (MAD 20 within Safi or MAD 40 to other cities) is not refundable, but no hidden delivery fee is deducted from orders that qualified for free delivery.
- Incorrect, damaged, or defective item: We cover the agreed return cost and offer a replacement when available or a refund.
- Refund method and timing: Approved refunds are sent by bank transfer, Cash Plus, or Wafacash within 7 business days after we receive, inspect, and approve the return.
- Opened or used products: Personal care products, oils, herbs, soaps, incense, and similar products cannot be returned for a change of mind. This does not apply to an incorrect, damaged, or defective product.
- Order cancellation: You can cancel before the order is handed to the delivery company. After dispatch, the return conditions above apply.

Delivery
